The owners
In recent years, we have spent most of our vacations on Crete, which has become our second home.
In 2006, after our first vacation on
Crete and Almyrida, we ended up buying our own holiday home. We totally fell in
love with this beautiful village with its relaxed athmosphere, the surrounding
areas with the sandy beaches, the azure sea, the White Mountains (Lefka Ori)
and the hospitality of the citizens. After 10 fantastic years in Crete, we
decided to build a new house inside the village of Almyrida and to start a
rental business, Laksesvela Ltd. Finding the perfect location was very important for us and we
were lucky to find a nice plot with beautiful view, just a few steps from the
sandy beach and the center of the village.
In 2016, the whole project was finished and we are very
proud of the result. We are ready to share these fantastic villas with their
distinctive architecture and design with you. Our villas provide you with
five-star comfort, designed in such a way as to achieve comfort, luxury,
satisfaction and relaxation. A sense of well-being!
Although we as the owners live
abroad (outside Oslo, Norway), our Greek- and English-speaking host & concierge will welcome you at the villa
and be available during your stay. It is very important to us that you as our
guests feel safe and comfortable, not only at the time of arrival, but also
throughout your stay.

Local host & concierge
Roula, our Greek local host & concierge lives only minutes away from Villa Karga and Villa Nova. She speaks English very well and will be available for guests during the stay. Upon arrival she will meet at the villa or at an agreed easy-to-find meeting point. An informative tour of the villa will be provided, to assist in getting known to facilities of the villa and sharing tips on things to see and do during the stay – ensuring Your vacation is one to remember.
If you have a late arrival or just want to avoid the
inconvenience of rushing off to buy groceries on your first day of vacation, we can make sure that your refrigerator is pre stocked with your favorite
food and beverages. Just give us your preferred shopping list and the groceries can be delivered
at the villa before your arrival.
Roula wants to make sure you’ll be coming to a place of comfort and luxury with a personalized assistance.
If you need any valuable tips about restaurants, shops, beaches, boat trips, water sports, book a tennis court, sight seeing, book treatments at a luxury spa or hairdresser neartby, she will be happy to assist.
Roula is always willing to go the «extra mile with a smile on her face» ensuring that our guests have a wonderful experience.
House Cleaning staff - Pool maintenance - Gardening
In our team, we also have a professional gardener, certified pool maintainance company and certified house cleaners.
House cleaning is performed twice a week with linen and towel change. Our house cleaning service is run by a well renowned professional company with fully trained and uniformed maids.
Our pools are salt water sanitized. We do not add chlorine into our pools, which makes the water very comfortable and it reduces eye and skin irritation compared to traditionally chlorine pool systems. Our pools are maintained by a professional company, with technicians trained to follow specific guidelines to ensure that the pool is crystal clear and in proper working order. Pool maintenence is performed twice a week.
The garden is taken care of once a week by a professional gardening company. They cut the lawn, prune the plants and make sure that all the grass, flowers and trees get the correct fertilizer suitable for each plant at the right time of the year.
